Muscles

Started doing weights this morning. (Apparently stress fractures don't heal on their own.)
I'm going to get ripped. At our next anniversary party (see Sarah and I at left), bitch is going down.

First day

I made it through the "first day".

But I got a bit nostalgic half way through the day and spent some time in the bathroom creating colourful AV alerts [and then deleting them.]

Planet Terror

What a great movie this was. All I could think of was, "WOW, I wish I could have been in this movie!" I mean, the machine-gun peg-leg was exactly what I need for those days you just have to let loose. The zombies were phenomenal actors. I'm planning on trying out for the sequel "Planets of Terrorization". My roomie thinks I need to work on my stage presence.

Duality

Double lives become complicated. I've had to join a support group for people with double-life addictions. There's a lot of strange people in the group. There are people who have 2 homes, where each of their "lives" don't know about each other. There are people with double pet-lives, yes for real. People that own 2 dogs and the dogs don't know about each other. I mean some of their stories and what lengths they go to are totally bizarre. My problem just doesn't seem to be a big deal compared to others in the support group. I feel awkward when they encourage me to talk about my double-life. I do however, find it helps to share my pain with those who struggle with similar problems. Last night at the Support Group for Double-Lifers (SGDL) I felt I could share my story. I felt so accepted by the group. I am liberated enough to let the blog world know that I spend my day life at a regular office job and every night I become Miss Canada. Wow, do I feel better! Bring it on world!

Ped-power

I ride my bike everywhere. It reduces emissions, keeps me in shape and I can check out the road kill at an acceptable viewing speed. Biking is the way to go. I stress about which bike group I fit into. I mean, I really think cyclists deserve the respect and space of a car on the road. But I do ride on the sidewalk and take advantage of the pedestrian right-of-ways when I can. Somedays I just feel confused. Am I a car or am I a pedestrian? I just don't know. I can ride in both spaces so perhaps I'm both. Those are the days I walk my bike. I usually get to work really late on those days.

Sparkle

SPARKLING!
seriously, i didn't know that crystals are sooo SPARKLING!
they're like SHIMMERSHIMMER.
whoa!
i was watching this video on the Swarvoski Fashion Rocks 07 event at the Royal Albert Hall.
damn the stage was classic!
the mics were studded with CRYSTALS.
the chandelier is made of CRYSTALS.
the seat is studded with CRYSTALS.
the dancers' shoes are studded with CRYSTALS!!!
that's simply over sparkly.

the performance was great.
the effects were great.
basically the whole damn concert was great.
but things get even greater when WHITNEY HOUSTON appeared!
OK.
i'm not mesmerised with whitney cos she's old school.
but what came up was even better!
it's the SUGARBABES!
but i ain't excited bout that as well.
but the finale included PATTI LABELLE!
ms. patti stunned the audience with her amazing vocals and sudden appearance!
it was THE MOST exciting thing i've ever since.

telk and tach

I have a confession....I have always thought of myself as a nerd. ALWAYS. I even work with an entire provincial wide tech group, I so fit in. But now I have real confirmation that my feelings were always right. I took the test and found I'm....

Y think at all?

I have found over the years that is important to think. Not necessarily all the time, because that can get to be a bit much for those that don't think a lot. So in order not to annoy people I think about 30% of the time. I have found this to be the common amount of thinking any person really does. Most of the people I work with, think more than 30% of the time. They really are pushing it.
